Horseshoes 2012

For the first tournament year ever, the team of Charmain Laroque and Roy Nicolas came out on top of heap of players vying for the coveted Township 45 belts. Things obviously got heated with so much at stake, but luckily, cool pops were available to temper any flames. The first year was played on the north side of the old grainery, and in subsequent years the location evolved.

From just playing pick-up horseshoes the previous year, the event switched to tournament style and a pair of Township 45 Horseshoe Team Champion belts were donated. Teams were picked by the draw of cards, and a round-robin double-knockout tournament was made.
