Horseshoes 2016

The winners were Owen Gentes and David Laroque. This is also known as the day the lights went out in Horse Lake. The participant list was very large this year, with XX teams. The tournament was moved out to the “Gardens” and the single pit meant that we played right through until dark. Lights were brought out for the finals and the oohs and aahs of the final throws mixed quickly with the oohs and aahs of the fireworks.

The second place team was Andrew Gentes and Dave Metheral. In the final it was father shooting against son, and David shooting against Dave.
